The exhibition “Revolutionary struggles of the period 1930 – 1945” displays more than 300 artifacts, pictures, and documents introducing the resistance war against the French colony of the Saigon – Gia Dinh people since the Communist Party was established with typical movements such as the Movement in 1930 – 1931, Movement struggling for people’s material and moral welfare of 1936 – 1939, Southern part insurrection of November 23, 1940, August Revolution in Saigon in 1945; and after nine years of the arduous resistance war, the great Dien Bien Phu victory ended the French colonial’s domination, liberated the North, and brought the Vietnamese revolution into a new phase – the stage of establishing socialism in the North and continued to carry out the liberation revolution in the South.
