On the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Traditional Day, for noting the achievements of Ho Chi Minh City gymnastics and sports, obtained during the past years, contributing to the propaganda, education, motivation of the whole people to participate in the activities of gymnastics and sports, Ho Chi Minh City Service of Culture and sports held the topical exhibition “40 years of Ho Chi Minh City Sports”.
The exhibition introduced nearly 400 materials, objects and pictures confirming the important position, role of Ho Chi Minh City Sports towards the general development of Vietnam Sports during 70 years of its formation and development, at the same time reviewed the red stamps of Ho Chi Minh City Sports during the 40 past years, with the following matters:
– The development of Ho Chi Minh City gymnastics and sports.
– Ho Chi Minh City – The gymnastics-sports center of the whole country
– Gymnastics-sports for everybody (Community).
– Sports of high achievements
Being one of the dynamic economic centers of the whole country, Ho Chi Minh City is also a gymnastics- sports center of the whole country. During 40 past years, Ho Chi Minh City Sports has obtained a lot of achievements, contributing to bringing the glory to the national sports. Through the exhibition, once more, it confirms the position, propagandizes the image of gymnastics and sports of Ho Chi Minh City, in particular and the whole country in general, continues developing the tradition “When the people are strong, the country is prosperous” of President Ho Chi Minh.
The exhibition opens on March 25, 2016 and lasts to April 10, 2016 at Ho Chi Minh City gallery (92 Le Thanh Ton, District 1).
