The communal houses in Ho Chi Minh City have a history of formation and development from 100 years to more than 300 years. Experiencing the ups and downs of history, today Ho Chi Minh City has about 300 communal houses, of which 53 are classified as relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the City People’s Committee.
On November 23, 2021, thematic exhibition “Some images of communal houses in Ho Chi Minh City” was officially opened to promote and introduce the images and values of communal houses; Thereby, raising the awareness of the people of the city, especially the young generation about preserving and promoting the value of the nation’s cultural heritage, educating the love of the homeland, the country, pride in the homeland. traditional culture of Vietnam.
