Publications of the Ho Chi Minh City Museum

On the occasion of its 35th anniversary, the Ho Chi Minh City Museum introduces to the public the following new publications:

                                                         1.      “Collection of Minh Menh coins in Ho Chi Minh City Museum”

“ Ancient money is a special type of cultural heritage, reflecting many aspects of social life and is a very rich source of historical data. Therefore, Vietnam’s ancient coins are one of the special cultural heritages, an important object of interest to researchers of history, culture, archeology and museology because it is associated with the problems of the past. economic, political and social development stages in Vietnamese history”.

Through “Collection of Minh Menh coins in Ho Chi Minh City Museum”, Ho Chi Minh City Museum widely introduces to the public a part of the Museum’s artifacts as well as provides readers, researchers a useful amount of knowledge about the value of this particular type of cultural heritage in particular and national history in general.

2.      “ Museum of Ho Chi Minh City – A Cultural History Perspective”

The book introduces the history of formation and development of the Ho Chi Minh City Museum, from its founding as the Ho Chi Minh City Revolutionary Museum until it became a local research museum with the name of Ho Chi Minh City Museum. Ho Chi Minh City Museum.
