On August 23, 2017, a high-ranking delegation of Xieng Khoang province, Lao People’s Democratic Republic of Laos visited the Ho Chi Minh City Museum on the occasion of their working visit to Ho Chi Minh City from the 22nd. – August 25, 2017 at the invitation of the Party Committee and the City Government. The delegation, led by Mr. Outhane Massisonxay – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee as Head of the delegation and officials of the Departments and Branches, visited and learned about the history, culture and people of Saigon – Ho Chi Minh City. Minh as well as the importance of the Museum in the process of preserving documentary images about the origin and development of the City from the past to the present. The comrades also expressed their joy at the development of Ho Chi Minh City in the integration period, worthy of being the national locomotive in terms of economy, science and technology.

            After the visit, the delegation welcomed and thanked the Board of Directors and staff of the Museum for welcoming, explaining and serving the delegation enthusiastically and thoughtfully.
