Within the framework of activities to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930 – October 20, 2020) and the 10 years of Vietnam Women’s Day, the City Women’s Union, The Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City cooperated with relevant units to organize the exhibition “90 years – Golden imprints of the Association”.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was solemnly held on the morning of October 19, 2020 at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum. An exhibition with over 200 images introducing the formation and development of the Vietnam Women’s Union; traces over 90 years of development of the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union; great contributions of the Saigon – Gia Dinh Department of Transport in the two long-term national resistance wars; achievements of the women’s movement and activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union, especially in the period after the Liberation Day of the South and reunification of the country on April 30, 1975; outstanding results of patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, programs, works and typical activities of the Women’s Union of Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to the sustainable development of the city. The exhibition takes place from October 19, 2020 to October 30, 2020 with 3 themes:
– “90 years – Golden imprints of the Association” at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum (No. 65 Ly Tu Trong Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1).
– “City women are proud to follow” at Dong Khoi Street – The area in front of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City (No. 164 Dong Khoi Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1).
– “Society and Life” at Dong Khoi Street – The area opposite Chi Lang Park (Ben Nghe Ward, District 1).
