On June 14, 2012, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City launched the voting program “Ho Chi Minh City – 100 interesting things” for the second time. Voting program lasted for 45 days. The ceremony to announce the voting results took place at the end of July 2012.

Museum of Ho Chi Minh City is one of 218 nominees for 100 interesting things. And according to the voting results: Ho Chi Minh City Museum is one of the “Top 5 typical museums” of “Ho Chi Minh City – 100 interesting things”.

           Tourism experts and consumers have selected the top 5 of the fields closely related to tourism such as: 5 interesting entertainment attractions, 5 typical museums, 5 historical and cultural relics. – typical art, 5 typical luxury hotels, 5 typical markets, 5 typical architectural works… 

           Compared to the first time held in 2009, this year, the voting program “Ho Chi Minh City – 100 interesting things” has many new features, especially the variety of voting criteria, to introduce more than typical cultural values, attractive tourist products of the city. According to the Organizing Committee, the program “Ho Chi Minh City – 100 interesting things” is one of the city’s large-scale programs, contributing to promoting the enhancement and diversification of tourism products.
