From July 1, 2020 to July 5, 2020, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Cultural Heritage held a training class, fostering professional knowledge and improving skills in preserving conservation artifacts. Museum and relic preservation for Southern units with the participation of nearly 200 students.
The training course, fostering professional knowledge, improving skills in preventive preservation and developing risk response plans for museums took place from July 1, 2020 to July 5, 2020. for those who are officials in charge of preservation warehouses or directly doing preservation work at museums. The content of the training and refresher course equips the trainees with in-depth knowledge of the theory and practice of preservation, prevention and response to risks.
The training course, fostering professional knowledge and improving professionalism on monument conservation took place from July 1, 2020 to July 3, 2020 for those who are officials directly doing management work. at the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Department of Culture and Sports; Department of Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism; World Heritage Management Board/Center; Museum; Management Board/Relic Conservation Center. The content includes in-depth knowledge on skills of preserving relics and managing and protecting relics, antiquities and national treasures at relics; Preservation of archaeological sites; Assessment of impacts and risks affecting historical – cultural relics, scenic spots.
The theoretical program is trained by experts at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum and guided to visit and exchange practical experiences at the following units: Museum of Ho Chi Minh City, Museum of Ho Chi Minh City History Ho Chi Minh City, Southern Women’s Museum, Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum, Reunification Hall, Cu Chi Tunnels Historic Site.
