The Museum of Ho Chi Minh City hosts the thematic exhibition “Truong Son Trail – Ho Chi Minh Trail” on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Trail Opening Day – Truong Son Army Traditional Day (May 19, 1959 – May 19, 2019) and the 58th Anniversary of the Opening of Ho Chi Minh Trail at Sea (October 23, 1961 – October 23, 2019).
The thematic exhibition to reminisce about the revolutionary traditions, bravery, resilience, ingenuity and creativity of Truong Son soldiers in the support of manpower and resources for the battlefields in the South and our allies, Laos and Cambodia.
More than 200 images, materials and objects associated with the Truong Son soldiers in the support of manpower and resources for the battlefield in the South. The exhibition dedicated to “Truong Son Trail – Ho Chi Minh Trail” overviewed the process of preparation, development and expanding of the Truong Son Trail are displayed parts:
Room 1:
- Blazing the trail
- Developing, expanding Truong Son Trail system
- Under the bombardment
- Ho Chi Minh trail at sea
Room 2:
- Feats of Truong Son soldiers’ forces.
- The world supported the Vietnamese people’s resistance war
- Truong Son of today
The exhibition opened since December 30, 2019.
